Russia, Algeria to Keep Coordinating Efforts to Resolve Crises, Moscow Says
Another round of Russian-Algerian interdepartmental consultations was held at the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
The discussions focused on Sahara-Sahel regional issues of mutual interest, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
This comes amid escalating tensions between Algeria and Mali after Algerian forces shot down a Malian drone near a border town in late March.
