'Does ICC Have Any Legitimacy in Civilized World?' Asks Pro-Palestinian Protester in Paris

On Monday, the Association of Jurists for the Respect of International Law accused Paris of missing the Israeli prime minister's plane. Benjamin Netanyahu is subject to an arrest warrant issued by the ICC in November.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) currently does not have any legitimacy in the world, as its orders are not honored, a pro-Palestinian protester in Paris, Mena, told Sputnik Africa.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not have to face the consequences of the ICC arrest warrant against him because Western countries do not respect the institution, the protester argued.
"The EU first of all and [European Commission president Ursula] von der Leyen, they don't recognize the ICC at all. And they have no desire to take sides with the Palestinians and the victims," she pointed out.
Paris is no exception as it has the same position, the protester added.
"France was one of the countries that 'rejected' this decision and that practically doesn't recognize the ICC. Otherwise, France would normally have arrested him and tried him as it did at Nuremberg," Mena concluded.
