Western Weapons Destined for Ukraine Are Ending Up in Africa
This is happening while Russian instructors are helping the Central African Republic push terrorists out of the country, Alexander Ivanov, director of the Community of Officers for International Security, told Sputnik Africa.
Russian military instructors have done "a tremendous job restoring peace and order" in the country, the official continued. This has contributed to:
◾the return of populations to their homes;
◾the restoration of infrastructure;
◾the revival of the economy.
Moreover, this effort has instilled faith in the future among Central Africans, Ivanov noted.
"Today, about 95% of the republic's territory is under the control of a legitimate and legal government. The work of the instructors never stops for a moment," he concluded.
