An initiative like “Beyond the Return” and all diaspora-related engagements is an export for Ghana because we are able to connect back with our roots who are found outside the country and bring them into the country to be able to benefit us [...]. Summarily, that's making us a household name in the tourism diplomacy space, which you would be familiar with, trickled down to Nigeria, establishing the Door of Return in 2020 after Ghana's initiative," Mohammed Suhuyini Zakaria, a public policy and government relations consultant at Speyside in Accra, Ghana, noted.
