Heavy Rains in DR Congo: Death Toll Rises to 33
According to the authorities, the heavy rains that fell on Friday night caused extensive damage in several communes of the city.
Several major roads were under water, while electricity and drinking water supplies were cut off in large areas.
The Congolese government has set up a crisis management unit in coordination with the armed forces.
