In the exclusive economic zone of Mozambique, the research vessel "Atlantida" is actively conducting operations.
The catch from control trawls has varied between 2 and 134 kg per trawl, primarily consisting of luminous anchovies, sharks, squid, and shrimp. Over the course of just one week, a total of 971 kg of aquatic biological resources were collected.
Meanwhile, the research vessel "Atlantniro" continues its bottom surveys off the coast of Guinea-Bissau.
Here, catch sizes from control trawls range from 4 to 2800 kg per trawl. The main species captured include West African horse mackerel, African ilisha, and hake.
