Russian President Vladimir Putin has shared his assessments of the progress of the dialogue between Moscow and Washington on finding a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict during a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Kremlin said on Friday. The presidents also discussed the results of recent consultations between Russian and US expert groups in Riyadh and the agreement reached on a moratorium on strikes on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine for a period of 30 days, starting from March 18. Additionally, Putin and Erdogan have discussed the renewing of the Black Sea initiative on the safe navigation, as well as the Russian-Turkish cooperation in various areas, including the energy sector.The leaders also agreed to continue contacts between Russia and Turkey at various levels.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - On March 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has shared his assessments of the progress of the dialogue between Moscow and Washington on finding a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict during a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Kremlin said on Friday.
"A detailed telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. [...] The constructive nature of the contacts held at the highest and other levels was noted," the Kremlin said in a statement.
The presidents also discussed the results of recent consultations between Russian and
US expert groups in Riyadh and the agreement reached on a moratorium on strikes on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine for a period of 30 days, starting from March 18.
"At the same time, Vladimir Putin drew attention to the Kiev regime’s ongoing provocative attempts to attack Russia’s energy infrastructure," the statement read.
Additionally, Putin and Erdogan have discussed the renewing of the
Black Sea initiative on the safe navigation, as well as the Russian-Turkish cooperation in various areas, including the energy sector.
"Erdogan expressed support for the Russian-American dialogue and the Turkish side's readiness to facilitate the advancement of the Black Sea deal," the Kremlin said.
The leaders also agreed to continue contacts between Russia and Turkey at various levels.
