According to him, Sudan expects the international community to hold the RSF and their supporters accountable and seeks full international engagement in the country's reconstruction, inviting friendly nations, including Russia, to actively participate.Sudanese citizens can expect a stronger, more unified Sudan determined to rebuild without external interference, based on lessons learned, Sirrag stated.

Khartoum Liberation Represents 'Perseverance of Sudanese people,' Resistance Against RSF: Ambassador
On Thursday, Sudanese military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan declared that Khartoum was "free" from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces that have been fighting the regular army since April 2023.
The liberation of Khartoum was possible due to the Sudanese people's strong support for their government and army, their unity, the army's professionalism, and support from allied nations, Sudanese Ambassador to Russia Mohammed Elghazali Eltigani Sirrag told Sputnik Africa.
"The country would be heading toward complete eradication of the militia from every where in the country, and work at the same time for post war recovery in all aspects politically, socially, and economically. The intentional damages are unimaginable to the infrastructure of country," the ambassador said.
According to him, Sudan expects the international community to hold the RSF and their supporters accountable and seeks full international engagement in the country's reconstruction, inviting friendly nations, including Russia, to actively participate.
Sudanese citizens can expect a stronger, more unified Sudan determined to rebuild without external interference, based on lessons learned, Sirrag stated.
