MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Earlier in the day, the Kremlin revealed that Russia and the United States have agreed to develop measures to reach an agreement on banning strikes on Russian and Ukrainian energy facilities, with the possibility of extension.
Russia and the United States have agreed on a list of Russian and Ukrainian facilities subject to a temporary moratorium on strikes on the energy system, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.
"The list of Russian and Ukrainian facilities agreed upon between the Russian and US sides, which fall under the temporary moratorium on strikes on the energy system: oil refineries, oil, gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations, electricity generation and transmission infrastructure, including power plants, substations, transformers and distributors, nuclear power plants, dams of hydroelectric power plants," the Kremlin said on Telegram.
Russia and the United States welcome the assistance of third countries aimed at supporting the implementation of agreements in the energy and maritime spheres, the Kremlin said.
On Monday, the Russian delegation, led by top senator for foreign affairs Grigory Karasin and adviser to Federal Security Service chief Sergey Beseda, met with the US delegation in Riyadh. They were expected to discuss the details of a possible resumption of the deal on the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, as earmarked by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump during their latest phone call.
