Partner Russian Houses are represented by public organizations. Partners can take part in student and scientific exchanges and promotion of the Russian language and culture, including in the Russian humanitarian agency's information campaigns involving selecting foreigners and fellow nationals, who are provided with free education in Russia.
Partner Russian Houses will appear in Madagascar and Sierra Leone, Russian humanitarian agency Rossotrudnichestvo told Sputnik.
For Madagascar, this is the first experience of cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo, while other countries such as Bolivia, Brazil, Iraq, Sierra Leone, and Thailand have extended the validity of previously concluded agreements, the agency said.
According to the head of the agency, Yevgeny Primakov, this is an important event for strengthening Russia’s cultural, educational, and humanitarian ties.
"Round tables on the promotion of the Russian language, meetings with deputies of the Madagascar-Russia Friendship group, and visits to schools in Antananarivo, where Russian is taught as an optional subject, are planned in Madagascar,” Rossotrudnichestvo clarified.
