The East African Cultural and Arts Festival, themed "Art and Culture for Regional Integration," brings together cultural groups from eleven East African nations to showcase the region's rich traditions and artistic heritage while fostering unity and cooperation. The festival is running from March 20 to 24.
Ethiopian championship for Pan-Africanism was first exemplified by the victory at Adwa, which inspired black people worldwide to fight for their rights and sovereignty, Tesfahun Gobezay, Ethiopian State Minister of the Government Communication Service, told Sputnik Africa.
He noted that Ethiopian foreign policy focuses on the country's neighbors and regional integration.
Ethiopia is actively pursuing regional integration through various means, including infrastructure development and electric power-sharing, Tesfahun Gobezay stated.
