MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Kursk region is one of the Russian regions that border Ukraine and has been regularly targeted by Ukrainian attacks since the beginning of Russia's special military operation.
Ukrainian forces on the night of March 20 blew up the Sudzha gas metering station in Russia's Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
The station, which had previously transported over 40 million cubic meters of gas per day, has been under Ukrainian control since August 7, 2024, it added.

"Throughout the whole period, Ukrainian units have used this facility as one of their 'safe' logistics points," the statement read.
