Earlier, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he does not want to allow a direct military clash with Russia as a result of sending a so-called peacekeeping corps to Ukraine.
In order to stop a war, "you really have to cut off the funding" that provides the fuel for the conflict, Kelvin Mugambi Kubai, the lawyer for the African Center for Corrective and Prevention Action, Kenya, told Sputnik Africa.
"[Europe is] fueling the conflict. Instead of de-escalating and getting parties to peace talks and negotiations and diplomatic interventions, you [European leaders] are literally making it hard for the parties to negotiate and engage diplomatically," he said.
