Aleksandr Dugin is regarded as a key figure in modern Russian geopolitical thought and traditionalist philosophy. His family has been a target of pro-Ukrainian terrorism, with his daughter Darya killed in a bomb explosion in 2022.
Ukraine has exhausted and missed its historic chance for an independent national political existence, Russian political philosopher Aleksandr Dugin told Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko during an interview.

More insights by Dugin:

Ukrainian patriots turned a deaf ear to Dugin’s calls to create a great Russia-Ukraine empire

"I have been saying so for decades, adding that we will together fight against those who attack this Empire rather than fight against each other. Everything, however, turned out the other way around."

Ukrainian nationalists are not real ones

"What does a true nationalist stand for? For the territories under the state's jurisdiction to remain within it at any cost […] Ukrainian nationalists are the ones who have destroyed the Ukrainian national state. They undermined its territorial integrity, weakened it, and dragged it into a hopeless conflict that is disastrous for Ukraine as a sovereign state."

Liberal West wants to alienate Dugin and Putin

"This entire [Western] operation [to sabotage Putin-Dugin cooperation] is a deliberate subversive work not only against Putin, but also against Russia, because when patriots come together, […] this does not simply add to their potential, but multiplies it."

180-degree turn: Trump changes US policy and ideology just in a month

"He canceled gender policies, expelled transgender people from the military. […] It’s a slap in the face to the entire previous 40-year movement toward liberalism, Satanism, and postmodernism. Trump is currently carrying out his Conservative Revolution with particular vigor."

Sigma boys vs Globalist vampires

The Russian hit song "Sigma Boy" is going viral, and Aleksandr Dugin connects its message to J.D. Vance and Elon Musk — real-world examples of the Sigma mindset in action.
"Right now, we have an absolutely brilliant politician — J.D. Vance, the Vice President of the United States — who has read René Girard. So, in essence, Sigma Boy is about that."
"For example, the term nerd sounds demeaning. But take Elon Musk—he’s exactly this kind of successful nerd, and it’s hard to imagine anyone more successful. When people call him a nerd or a sigma boy, he calmly responds, 'Yeah, great, I’m a successful sigma boy.'"
