The employees of the Russian Consulate General in Marseille were not injured, and no material damage was caused, confirmed the Russian Embassy in France.
The version that Molotov cocktails were thrown at the facility "does not seem to be the right one at this stage," the Bouches-du-Rhône police prefecture finally told media.
