WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – French magazine Le Point reported on Friday, citing unnamed sources, that Trump will visit Moscow to celebrate Victory Day on May 9 and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
US President Donald Trump denied reports from the media regarding his intention to travel to Moscow to participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II).
"No, I won't go" Trump told reporters on Friday when asked to confirm media reports.
There are no agreements on Trump's possible visit to Moscow for the May 9 celebrations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on Friday.

Preparations for Putin-Trump Meeting Still at Initial Stage, Russia's Deputy FM Says
According to Peskov, there are no specifics on the meeting between Putin and Trump, while there is an understanding on the need to hold it.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier said that the prospect of a face-to-face meeting between the two leaders depended on progress in resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
On Tuesday, Russian and US delegations led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Secretary of State Marco Rubio held landmark talks in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh to discuss the future of bilateral relations and the Ukraine conflict, among other issues.
