MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Earlier in February, a new model of Russia's most advanced fifth-generation fighter, the Su-57, which has proven its effectiveness in countering Western air defense systems in real combat conditions and is in growing demand, was presented by Rosoboronexport at Aero India 2025.
Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport has already signed $4.5 billion worth of contracts with 15 friendly countries since the beginning of 2025, the company's Director General, Alexander Mikheev, said on Thursday.

"The general idea of our exposition [at the IDEX-2025 expo] is to show Russia's comprehensive approach to the development and modernization of all types of weapons, taking into account the experience of modern combat. This factor has already allowed us to sign contracts worth over $4.5 billion with 15 friendly countries in 2025," the company's press service quoted Mikheev as saying.

Abu Dhabi will host the IDEX-2025 international defense expo from February 17 to 21. At the expo, Rosoboronexport is expected to present a large-scale exposition of Russia's newest defense products.
"At IDEX 2025, Rosoboronexport presents the maximum number of new products of the Russian defense industry in recent years. Among them: the world's best T-90MS tank in an updated appearance, the Pantsir-SMD-E anti-aircraft missile system, the new generation KUB barrage ammunition, the Kornet-EM ATGM with a remote control and a new Bulat missile, and the Berezhok combat compartment," Rosoboronexport's director general noted.
