Russia's official arms export organization, Rosoboronexport, revealed earlier that an unidentified foreign buyer has ordered the Su-57. The aircraft is praised for next-generation avionics, enhanced stealth, and supermaneuverability as its main selling advantages.
Algeria has become the first foreign buyer of Russia's fifth-generation Su-57 Felon stealth fighter, having confirmed its acquisition, the local state media reported

According to the report, Algerian pilots are presently training in Russia and that deliveries are anticipated to start later this year.
This purchase is part of Algeria's continuous military modernization initiatives, which are intended to enhance its defensive capabilities and preserve regional air superiority. By the end of 2026, the first Su-57s should be in service.
Although no precise pricing information has been made public, Russian officials have previously said that the export version of the Su-57 would be "significantly cheaper" than its Western equivalents, especially the F-35, even though the deal's precise parameters are still unknown.
