Relations with African countries are a rapidly developing area of Russia's foreign policy. Russia supports African countries, establishing partnerships and spreading the Russian language and culture. Language centers are being opened, and Russia is investing in the infrastructure and economy of African states, the Russian president's adviser said.
Russia prioritizes strengthening partnership and economic cooperation with African states, Russian president's adviser Anton Kobyakov said at the meeting with chairman of the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries (AFROCOM) Igor Morozov to sum up the results of the work on the Russia-Africa forum track in 2024 and to outline plans for 2025.

"The development of partnership relations between Russia and African states is one of the priorities of our country's leadership today," the Roscongress Foundation quoted the Russian president's adviser as saying.

Russia is open to dialogue with the countries of the African continent in all directions, and joint work within the framework of business events in Russia and Africa will strengthen relations, noted Kobyakov, who is also an executive secretary of the organizing committee for the events of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum.

"I am confident that joint work within the framework of business events in Russia and Africa will make it possible to strengthen our relations and outline new points of growth in the near future," he emphasized.

AFROCOM'S chairperson, Morozov, in turn, noted that in 2025, joint work between Russia and African countries on the forum track will continue.

"In 2025, Russia and African countries will continue to work together on the forum track. The events held with the participation of our partners from the African continent have shown their relevance and effectiveness for establishing business ties and developing joint economic, social and cultural projects," he pointed out.
