Trump also said that the US would "take over" Gaza and be responsible for reconstruction work in the region.

Arab League to fight the Palestinian resettlement project, the movement's spokesman Hazem Qassem said on Thursday.
“We call for the convening of an emergency Arab League summit to oppose the displacement project,” Qassem said in a statement.
Hamas also calls on Arab countries to resist
Trump's pressure and to stick to "anti-displacement positions," Qassem added.
Also on Thursday, Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said that Palestine is not an investment project; its lands are not subject to sale.
"Palestine, with its lands, history and holy places, is not for sale and is not an investment project," Abu Rudeineh was quoted as saying by the WAFA news agency.
