Samuel Nujoma (born in 1929) is a Namibian freedom fighter, anti-apartheid activist, and politician who served as the first president of Namibia from 1990 to 2005.
Namibia's first president, 95-year-old Sam Nujoma, is in critical condition and receiving medical treatment at a local hospital, his son Utoni Nujoma said.
Utoni Nujoma asked the nation to pray for his father.
