Gabon saw a significant increase in its revenues in 2024, which was accompanied by a rise in manganese production. The country's turnover rose by 5.8%, increasing from $978 million at the end of September 2023 to over $1 billion in 2024. This increase was largely due to the rise in the price of manganese ore, which rose by 16.7% over the same period.Manganese production in Gabon also increased in 2024: by 10.7% in the first nine months, reaching 7.5 million tonnes at the end of September, compared to 6.7 million tonnes in 2023.However, during the first nine months of 2024, the country exported 6.3 million tonnes of manganese, compared to 6.8 million tonnes over the same period in 2023. This represents a decrease of 7.7% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Economy, as quoted by the media. In light of the unstable demand and prices for manganese, the Eramet group, whose subsidiary Comilog specializes in the extraction and processing of this mineral, presented a project to the president of the country to support its activities in Gabon.

Gabon saw a
significant increase in its revenues in 2024, which was accompanied by a rise in manganese production.
The country's turnover rose by 5.8%, increasing from $978 million at the end of September 2023 to over $1 billion in 2024. This increase was largely due to the rise in the price of manganese ore, which rose by 16.7% over the same period.
Manganese
production in Gabon also increased in 2024: by 10.7% in the first nine months, reaching 7.5 million tonnes at the end of September, compared to 6.7 million tonnes in 2023.
However, during the first nine months of 2024, the country exported 6.3 million tonnes of manganese, compared to 6.8 million tonnes over the same period in 2023. This represents a decrease of 7.7% year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Economy, as quoted by the media.
In light of the unstable demand and prices for manganese, the Eramet group, whose subsidiary Comilog specializes in the extraction and processing of this
