WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - US journalist Tucker Carlson, without giving details, said that the administration of former US President Joe Biden was "trying to kill" Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Tony Blinken was pushing so hard for a real war, trying to kill Putin, for example, which the Biden administration did," he said during an interview with journalist Matt Taibbi. "Yes, they did."
At the same time, Carlson did not provide details or any evidence for his claims: when and where this could have happened, as well as other circumstances of preparation for a possible assassination attempt.
He emphasized that he considered these attempts "insane." According to Carlson, the Biden team made such attempts, since for the former American administration, "chaos is a screen that protects them."

Carlson expressed confidence that the former US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, de facto led the Biden administration, playing the role of the president for months. He also stressed that Blinken was pushing for a real war with Russia.
"I know that in the last two months, Blinken did everything he could to accelerate the war between the US and Russia, which should be illegal," he said.
Carlson said that Blinken was "demonstrably evil and also stupid." He pointed out that he saw "Blinken’s fingerprints" everywhere.
