Turkey is prepared to help solve the conflict between Rwanda and the DRC if both parties desire it, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a joint press conference with Rwandan President Paul Kagame in Ankara.Erdogan affirmed Turkey’s support for the Angola-led Rwanda-DRC negotiations. The two leaders discussed boosting cooperation and trade, highlighting the important role of Turkish companies' presence in Rwanda and agreeing to increase Turkish investments.Kagame stated that Rwanda and Turkey are committed to deeper collaboration, as evidenced by their agreements, and expressed gratitude for Turkish investments and mediation efforts, including in the Somalia-Ethiopia agreement, and urged self-reliance in global security issues.
