French political analyst and essayist Francois Martin, told

the possible meeting between the two leaders.
"Trump can't punish Putin, but he can offer incentives. So, negotiations between Putin and Trump, both on the issue of Ukraine and globally, can only take place on the basis of trade reconciliation," Martin, author of the books "Ukraine, Turning Point in the World" and "Time of Turning Points, West vs. the Rest of the World," said.
With the emergence of a multipolar world, the new US administration can also adapt, the expert noted.
"The Americans will wish to enter the BRICS system, the multipolar system, not as a hegemonic power, but as a power in a multipolar world," he explained.
However, it is the US system itself, based on debt for military purposes, that must be questioned, Martin emphasized.
"You can't clean up the swamp without ending all wars. It's a single system that Kennedy Jr. called a 'washing machine.' They drive the country into debt; they drive poor Americans and the middle class into debt to give a lot of money to the system. And the system sends that money raining down on politicians who voted for war loans," he pointed out.
