Two Chinese workers involved in road repairs in the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo were killed, and another one was injured, presumably by a police officer assigned to protect them, the Actualite news portal reported. The suspect fled, and his motives are still unknown, the report said on Thursday.The Chinese nationals reportedly worked for the China Railway Engineering Corporation responsible for the reconstruction of the DRC's National Road 1.
