The football player visited sports facilities in Niger's capital, Niamey, during the winter pause in the Russian Premier League, a Sputnik Africa correspondent reported.

"We must congratulate the president of the federation and all his entourage, because it is not easy at all. But what we have seen is not bad, starting with the technical center and the other fields, the Sahel field. It is to be celebrated; it is to be encouraged," Sako stated.
The Nigerien Football Federation must continue to work with the youth, the football player emphasized, adding that he was confident this would be achieved.
"I think that it will be done, with us too, with the young people who are outside the country, with everything we do in our different clubs; it will bring a little support to the federation," he noted.
