Earlier, a warning was issued by the Russian Defense Ministry to African partners regarding cooperation with the US in the biological-military sphere amid the US's growing presence in the region.
US research in Africa may "exacerbate the spread of certain diseases," Pan-Africanist activist Cheikh Ousmane Diallo told Sputnik Africa, commenting on the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry about the growing US military-biological presence.
It is "incomprehensible" that Senegalese authorities accepted a $35 million US investment to build a laboratory complex in Senegal, as reported by Major General Alexey Rtishchev, Deputy Chief of Russia's NBC Protection Troops, the activist said.
"This is an attack on African and particularly Senegalese sovereignty. The United States has an imperialist, capitalist approach, which seeks by all means to dominate peoples and impose its civilizational vision. Allowing such an imperialist state to conduct research on its soil is to bow to an imperialist will," he emphasized.
The US military biological laboratories are "production centers for weapons of mass destruction and bio-ethnic weapons," the activist added
He stated that the American deep state followed a Malthusian approach, with its primary goal being to reduce the world's population. Then, speaking as an African, he questioned how anyone could accept an imperialist power installing laboratories to serve the Pentagon.
