According to the Kremlin, issues related to the economy, the special military operation, domestic and world affairs and emerging problems will be on the agenda of the direct line of the Russian President Vladimir Putin this year.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's direct line, combined with an annual press conference, is taking place on Thursday in Moscow.
The Russian leader will respond to questions from reporters and citizens in order to reflect on the year. This year, as during the last year's event, Russians who contact the special hotline are most concerned about issues related to the special military operation, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

The Kremlin emphasized that Putin will carefully study all questions received.
The broadcast of the program "Year in Review with Vladimir Putin" went on air at noon Moscow time, 09:00 am GMT.
Over 1.7 million inquiries have already been received, the Kremlin said. Additionally, foreign journalists, including those from France, the US, China and other nations are anticipated.
The shortest in terms of running time was the very first direct line in 2001, which lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes. The longest communication with journalists lasted in 2008, it took 4 hours and 40 minutes. During this time, the president was asked 106 questions.
