On December 15, a Pan-African Parliament delegation visited the Saur-Mogila memorial complex in the DPR, laying flowers and honoring the memory of the heroes who fought against the Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists who helped the invaders.
Russia cooperates with Africa on the principle of mutual benefit, which creates favorable conditions for both sides, Steve Mikaya, member of the National Assembly of Malawi and Pan-African Parliament, told Sputnik.
This is exactly what Africa expects from development partners, the politician stressed.
He also noted that the continent's countries are seeking to avoid a situation in which foreign partners would primarily be interested in exporting the continent's
natural resources.
Earlier, the Pan-African Parliament delegation visited the Saur-Mogila memorial complex in the
Donetsk People's Republic. The delegation consisted of representatives from Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, South Sudan, Comoros, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea, Djibouti, Eswatini, Zambia, Somalia and Mozambique.
