West Uses Its Entire Arsenal of Pressure on Countries That Disobey It, Russian Official Says

United Russia is Russia's dominant political party, holding a supermajority in the State Duma since 2007.
The world community is going through a critical moment, as the old system of international relations is collapsing, and the West, trying to preserve the unipolar model of the world order, is using its entire arsenal of pressure on countries that are rebellious to it, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, said at the United Russia ruling political party congress.
"The West is desperately trying not to lose its influence on former colonies, to preserve the unipolar model of the world order, while using the entire arsenal of methods of pressure and intimidation of rebellious states – from trade wars, illegal economic sanctions to coups d'état and color revolutions, direct aggression and even genocide of entire nations," Medvedev, the leader of the United Russia party, said.
He stated that international cooperation is a priority for United Russia, encompassing bilateral and multilateral engagement with political forces representing a global majority – approximately 60 parties and organizations in over 55 countries.
