An armed mob has burned the grave of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's father Hafez in his hometown of Al Qardahah in Latakia province, Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar reported on Wednesday. Videos posted on social media show Hafez al-Assad's grave in flames. Hafez al-Assad was president of Syria from 1971-2000.
