Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and South Sudanese President Salva Kiir met in the South Sudanese capital of Juba on Wednesday, agreeing to strengthen cooperation on oil, trade, and border security, as well as revitalize bilateral relations.Following the meeting, according to local media, South Sudanese officials expressed optimism that al-Burhan's visit would significantly enhance cooperation between Khartoum and Juba.In the same vein, Sudanese officials confirmed that the discussions focused on joint concerns and bilateral relations. The Sudanese delegation also briefed President Kiir on the ongoing conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the rebel paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), highlighting the SAF's progress in various areas.The meeting included senior officials from both countries, notably Sudan's Minister of Energy and Oil, and the head of Sudan's General Intelligence Service.

Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and South Sudanese President Salva Kiir met in the South Sudanese capital of
