On Monday, US President Joe Biden began a two-day visit to Angola, which may likely be one of his last foreign trips as head of state. Initially, he was going to visit the African country in October, but the trip was postponed because of "Milton" hurricane.
Authorities of the province of Benguela in western Angola have banned street trading, as well as funerals, in several municipalities during the visit of US President Joe Biden to the country, a local newspaper said.
According to the report, funerals that were planned on Tuesday were postponed to Wednesday in the municipalities of Catumbela and Luongo.
The newspaper noted that, on Wednesday, Biden will visit the railway in the province of Benguela, connecting the territory of Angola with the mining regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia.
