The diplomatic relations between Russia and Sudan are at their highest point, Sudanese ambassador to Russia Mohamed Siraj told a news conference held at the Rossiya Segodnya international media group's press center in Moscow.The diplomat added that a Sudanese delegation of oil industry executives visited Russia in mid-November to meet with representatives of the Russian energy industry. He called the meeting useful. The Sudanese delegation was led by Minister of Energy and Petroleum Mohieddin Naeem Mohamed Saeed. The Russian Energy Ministry said Russian Sergey Tsivilev hosted his Sudanese counterpart for talks on the prospects for joint projects.
