Chuvash Republic of Russia Starts Supplying Locally Produced Tractors to Africa, Head of Region Says
10:17 29.11.2024 (Updated: 10:24 29.11.2024) Earlier, Belarus, a leading tractor manufacturer, announced plans to redirect its agricultural machinery exports to Africa following the European Union's ban on imports. This shift in trade flows has sparked discussions about its potential benefits for African countries and its implications for the global economy.
The Chuvash Republic of Russia starts supplying locally produced tractors to Africa, Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev told Sputnik.
"The production volumes of our tractor manufacturers have grown more than fivefold in four years. In recent years, the figures have risen significantly, and now we are already fully providing our consumers. This year we are expanding supplies to other countries. These tractors have already been presented in Uzbekistan as part of "Innoprom. Central Asia" exhibition," Nikolaev said.
He underscored that Chuvash
tractors have no analogues in Russia.
Earlier, Malawian Member of Parliament and Agriculture Minister Samuel Dalitso Kawale told
