African countries show consistently high interest in Russian grain supplies, chairman of the board of the Russian Union of Grain Exporters Eduard Zernin told a Russian news outlet.He noted that the market capacity in Africa and the Middle East is approximately 170 million tonnes per year and the figure will grow. Zernin added that in the current 2024-25 season, exports to Morocco and Nigeria have already increased several times. Supplies of Russian grain to Kenya are also rising, he concluded.
