MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Specialists continue to work at the drone crash sites, said the governor of Russia's Lipetsk Region, where four drones were shot down.
Russian air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 34 Ukrainian drones over four regions overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
"Over the past night, during an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 34 Ukrainian fixed-wing UAVs: 27 UAVs were destroyed over the Kursk Region, four UAVs were intercepted over the Lipetsk Region, two UAVs were shot down over the Belgorod Region and one over the Oryol Region," the statement says.
No threats have been recorded following a drone attack in Russia's Lipetsk Region, Governor Igor Artamonov said on Sunday.
"There were no casualties or injuries. I thank our military for ensuring the safety of the region's residents. No threats have been identified so far," Artamonov wrote on Telegram.
