Experts from the agriculture ministries of Russia and the Central African Republic discuss cooperation in seed production and supply of fertilizers, the press service of the Russian embassy in the Central African Republic said.In addition, they have touched upon the idea of creation of the first experimental wheat field in the Central African Republic. The Russian delegation, which participated in the meeting in CAR’s capital Bangui, included representatives of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), federal research centers and agrarian universities.Earlier, Russian Ambassador in Bangui Alexander Bikantov told Sputnik that the CAR is interested in enhancing dialogue with Russia in the fuel sector. At the same time, he added that no bilateral contracts for fuel supply have been signed so far.

13:17 22.11.2024 (Updated: 18:17 22.11.2024) On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with CAR President Faustin Archange Touadera and discussed the development of relations between the countries in political, trade, humanitarian spheres. According to Russian Ambassador to Bangui Bikantov, Moscow is the CAR's main partner in the military field.
