The China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition is being held in Zhuhai, in southern China, on November 12-17. About 47 countries are participating in the event. Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 is presented for the first time abroad during this exhibition.
Rosoboronexport, Russia's state-controlled arms export and import intermediary, is implementing projects of production of weapons in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region, Alexander Mikheev, CEO of the firm, told a Russian news outlet on the sidelines of the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai.

These projects "relate to the production and joint development with partners of small arms and ammunition, armored vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, air defense systems," Mikheev said.

Earlier, Rosoboronexport's press service said in September that the company organized a Russian exposition featuring more than 250 samples of military, dual-use, and civilian products at the international exhibition Africa Aerospace and Defense Expo 2024 in South Africa.
Particularly, the company presented for the first time in Africa modern systems for protecting armored vehicles from drones, including the radio-absorbing material "Nakidka" and dynamic protection kits for tanks.
