An electrical substation and a base supposedly lodging more than 100 enlistment officers were targeted in overnight strikes in Ukraine's Nikolayev region (also known as Mykolaiv), the coordinator of the local pro-Russian underground resistance network, Sergey Lebedev, told Sputnik on Wednesday. Pervomaisk, a city in the northwest of the Nikolayev region, used to lodge missile units at bases, which are now "often used by Bandera supporters," Lebedev said, referencing Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera.

Ukrainian Resistance Reports Strike on Military Base in Nikolayev
07:41 06.11.2024 (Updated: 10:51 06.11.2024) DONETSK (Sputnik) - The Russian military started striking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after a bombing attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Russian authorities believe had been carried out by Ukrainian security services. The strikes target energy, defense, military administration, and communications facilities nationwide.
An electrical substation and a base supposedly lodging more than 100 enlistment officers were targeted in overnight strikes in
Ukraine's Nikolayev region (also known as Mykolaiv), the coordinator of the local pro-Russian underground resistance network, Sergey Lebedev, told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"[There were] air strikes in the Nikolayev region targeting military and energy facilities. At about 3 am [01:00 GMT] on November 6, three explosions were heard in the direction of Pervomaisk," Lebedev said.
Pervomaisk, a city in the northwest of the Nikolayev region, used to lodge missile units at bases, which are now "often used by
Bandera supporters," Lebedev said, referencing Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera.
"The resistance writes that more than 100 employees of the TCK [Territorial Center of Recruitment] ... were sent to Pervomaisk, and there is a high probability that the strikes hit them. The TCK officers were accommodated at recreation centers in the Migia [Myhiya] area. Two more strikes hit a local substation, followed by a blackout and the loss of internet in the morning," Lebedev said.
