In 2023, Russia and Algeria signed a declaration on deepening strategic partnership, making Algeria a key market for the Russian Export Center (REC). The current Russian business mission in the African country serves as a crucial initiative within the framework of the state program supporting non-commodity exports from Russia.
The Russian Export Center, part of the leading financial development corporation VEB.RF Group, organized a
business mission that kicked off in the Algerian capital on Monday.
The mission brings together 14 Russian companies, including manufacturers of construction materials and equipment as well as IT firms. Representatives from Search Inform, a developer of information security software; GeoSM, a manufacturer of geosynthetic and insulation materials; Leber, a children's playground manufacturer; and Beavers, a construction materials producer, are among the participants.
The event features B2B meetings with Algerian businesses, providing
opportunities for forging new partnerships and securing contracts. Russian companies will also showcase their products through dedicated presentations.
This isn't the first business mission to Algeria for the REC. Last year, the organization successfully organized an event in Algiers that resulted in over 10 contracts being signed between Algerian and Russian companies.
