The First Ministerial Conference of the Russia–Africa Partnership Forum will take place on November 9-10, at the Sirius University in Russia's Sochi. The event aims to strengthen comprehensive cooperation between Russia and Africa in all dimensions: politics, security, economics, as well as scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian issues.
Russia is expecting about 1,000 ministers from African countries at the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Forum in Sochi, Anton Kobyakov, the advisor to the president of Russia, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for Preparing and Ensuring Russia's Presidency in BRICS in 2024, said at a briefing on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Russia's Kazan on Wednesday.

"We keep the African angle of the association as one of our priorities. On November 9-10 in Sochi, as a follow-up to our BRICS summit in Kazan, we will gather a thousand African ministers. There will be foreign ministers and industry ministers. About a thousand people will come to Sochi to discuss with the leadership of the African continent the prospects within the BRICS framework that are being discussed here. On November 9-10, at the federal territory of Sirius we will carry out this work," he said.
