19:39 18.10.2024 (Updated: 19:42 18.10.2024) The BRICS Summit in Russia's Kazan will take place next week. It will be the largest foreign policy event in Russia this year, with a total of 32 countries having already confirmed their participation, according to Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov.
The BRICS Summit will take place in Kazan on October 22–24, 2024. Leaders of 16 countries, including those of Asia, Africa and Latin America, confirmed their participation in the event.
The summit is the highlight of Russia's chairmanship of BRICS in 2024. It will be the first to be attended by new members of the association.
