At least 18 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in northern Lebanon, the Lebanese Red Cross says.
The Israel Defense Forces carried out an airstrike on a house in the Aitou settlement in the Zgharta district. 18 people were killed and four got injured, the organization reported.

Earlier, the Emergency Situations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the IDF attacked the Zgharta area, where the majority of the population is Christian, for the first time.
On October 10, the Israel Defense Forces said that Hezbollah fired 360 projectiles toward Israel, with about 220 reaching Israeli territory.
