The Nigerian government launched a national digital platform, the Government Service Portal, to simplify and improve access to public services for citizens.
The initiative, a collaboration between Nigerian digital infrastructure provider Galaxy Backbone and the Korea International Cooperation Agency, aims to eliminate the need for in-person visits by allowing citizens to interact with multiple government

"The Government Service Portal has the potential to change lives, and I believe that through efficient and effective collaboration we will achieve a lot for our nation," said Federal Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of Nigeria Bosun Tijani, stressing the platform's importance.
The Managing Director of Galaxy Backbone, Ibrahim Adeyanyu, emphasized the importance of the project in embracing digitalization for improved governance.
