Earlier, media reported that more than 100 people plan to file lawsuits against Combs, accusing him of sexual abuse. In September, a New York court charged the musician with human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, organizing criminal activity and organizing prostitution; Combs is currently in custody.
Western public figures and journalists deliberately kept silent about what was happening at the events of the American rapper P. Diddy, who is accused of sexual violence, organizing criminal activity and prostitution, said the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova.
"This has been going on for decades [...]. Everyone knew about it, the whole crowd knew about it, it wasn't just Hollywood, it was all public figures, it was all journalists, by the way, and what's more, it was a unique situation where everyone was talking about it, but everyone was silent about what was really going on," Zakharova said.
She added that the American elites, including Hollywood, had become an extensive network that promoted such a lifestyle and actions.
Washington, which is preaching the world on how to live, she stressed, should think about the fate of the children who became victims in Sean Combs' (rapper's real name) case instead of "worrying" about the Ukrainian children by supporting the decisions of the International Criminal Court.

"They [the States] act as preachers on international platforms. They lecture everyone... In recent years, they have been engaged in the topic of not just Ukraine, but Ukrainian children, as if showing concern for them," Zakharova said on air at Sputnik radio.

She noted that the United States is busy with everything but caring for children who have been victims for decades in their own country.
Combs, who began his musical career in the 1990s, topped the list of the highest-paid musicians according to Forbes in 2017. In 2022, the magazine estimated his fortune at $1 billion, making him the second-richest hip-hop artist after Jay-Z.
In March 2023, the pre-trial chamber of the ICC, whose jurisdiction Russia does not recognize, issued an "arrest" warrant for children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin. The ICC accuses the Russian side, among other things, of allegedly "deporting" children whom Russian authorities rescued from Ukrainian shelling and took out of the combat zone to safe areas.
