DOHA (Sputnik) - Earlier on Sunday, a source in the provincial administration told Sputnik that Israeli fighter jets had launched a series of strikes on Al Hudaydah.
Four people have died, and 40 others have been injured in Yemen's western city of Al Hudaydah due to Israeli strikes, according to preliminary data, the Al-Masirah broadcaster reported, citing a health ministry spokesman.
"The Zionist raids on Al Hudaydah on Sunday resulted in the death of four civilians and the wounding of 40," the spokesman said, as quoted by the broadcaster.
The strikes were launched in response to the recent attacks by the Houthis against Israel, the Israel Defense Forces said.
