Since 2022, due to Western sanctions, Moscow producers of non-resource, non-energy products have reoriented their export flows and found new partners in the markets of Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Moscow manufacturers have grown exports of industrial and food products to Africa and Southeast Asia since the beginning of the year, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transportation and Industry Maxim Liksutov reported.

“With the city's support, the capital's manufacturers have increased exports of manufacturing and food industry goods to Africa and Southeast Asia,” Liksutov said.

In accordance with the order of the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, the city actively supports the development of trade and economic cooperation among the capital's enterprises.
