A visa-free travel agreement between Russia and Zimbabwe aimed at boosting passenger traffic between the two countries is being considered and could be signed on the sidelines of the fifth meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission in Moscow on November 5-7, Russian Ambassador to Zimbabwe Nikolay Krasilnikov told Russian media.Currently, a single entry visa to Zimbabwe can now be obtained at the border for a fee of $30. While passenger traffic between Russia and Zimbabwe remains low due to limited flight options and high ticket prices, Zimbabwe expressed interest in attracting Russian tourists with its developed tourism infrastructure, particularly in Victoria Falls.Earlier, Russia showed interest in the possibility of a mutual visa abolition with a number of African countries.
